Stilton Sauce: Add even more flavour with English Stilton cheese melted into fresh cream.

Mushroom, Garlic & Herb: A Creamy sauce with subtle flavours to enhance not overwhelm your steak.

Pepper Sauce: For a touch of luxury try your steak with our Chefs homemade sauce with crushed black Pepper.

Freshly Cooked Fish

 

All served with a choice of Potatoes and either Seasonal Vegetables or side Salad.

 

Salmon Fillet: A grilled salmon fillet with/without hollandaise sauce. Best with new potatoes or a jacket – but you choose.

Smoked Haddock: Baked then covered in a cheese & chive sauce that enhances its smoked flavours.

Lamb Shanks: Slowly braised fresh Lamb with red wine & rosemary gravy or minted gravy.

Honey Glazed Chicken (Warmed): Fresh sliced chicken breast tossed in warm/caramelised honey

Roast Pepper & Brie (V) (Warmed): Soft Brie drizzled with mixed roasted peppers.

Garlic or Cajun Chicken (Warmed): Marinated Chicken breast. Comes as a main dish on previous page!

Smoked Bacon & Chicken (Warmed): Strips of smoked Bacon tossed with fresh sliced chicken breast.

All of the following dishes are served with options AS SPECIFIED.

 

 

Steak n Ale Pie: The signature dish of the Royal Oak. Fresh-diced steak is cooked in our homemade 6x gravy. Added mushrooms are then topped with our homemade shortcrust pastry.

Served with your choice of potatoes, seasonal vegetables or a side salad.

Beef Lasagne: Minced beef in a tomato sauce with a dash of red wine are layered between pasta, white sauce and cheddar cheese. Served a salad garnish and slices of garlic bread or a small portion of chips.

Cottage Pie: Minced beef, carrots and swede in our homemade beef gravy, topped with real mash. Served with seasonal vegetables.

Chicken Tikka:  Fresh diced Chicken breast is cooked in our mild, yet full of flavour Tikka sauce. Served with either chips or basmati rice (if unsure, try half n half). Accompanied with deep fried poppadum. Like it HOT! – Ask for extra spice.
