We are not a frozen meal discounter nor claim to be gourmet but what we do offer is real food, plenty of it, cooked right and at sensible prices.

A mix of classic, traditional & continental meals created, prepared and cooked by real Chef's and not microwave technicians!

A simple/consistant style of cooking with no frills. We let the freshness and quality speak for themselves.

Our Flagship dish Steak & Ale Pie (seen above) demonstrates what the Royal Oak has to offer dinners.

Fresh lean diced beef sourced from local farms & supplied by Butchers - Bartlett's of Bath.
Our own recipe filling using Wadworth's 6X real ale.
A butter shortcrust pastry lid.
Cooked as a whole pie and served as a generous portion - no bowls with a lid on here!
Fresh vegetables prepared from whole (excluding frozen peas) and cooked just right - no hard vegetables.
All served with our thick tasty homemade beef gravy using real beef stock.
